The Celestial Enclave is a small collection of systems that have decided to secede from the Imperium. Their inhabitants are made up of Humans, Tau, and Eldar. Though they have seceded, they still rely on the Imperium’s trade for survival. What they hold, though, are the well protected planets and debris fields that happen to contain high amounts of rare metals, only found in minute quantities elsewhere in the Frontier. When the Imperium decided to move in and declare them property of the Imperium and decline the planets any compensation, they fought off the first wave of miners and declared themselves a separate state. They quickly began to forge new and powerful weaponry which lead to a small standoff. Eventually a treaty was written up and the newly formed Celestial Enclave came to be.
Though they are mostly on their own, the Celestial Enclave did agree to open trading with the Imperium. From the Imperium’s side, though, only those given a Warrant of Trade may officially do business with the Enclave. If trouble were to approach the Enclave, though, the Imperium has little motivation to help and are not obligated to do so.
The Celestial Enclave is currently led by counsel of three members, one of each race amongst themselves. They are:
